•   We are collecting non-violent toys for Toys for Tots if you would like to bring a new toy to share.
• Also, we will be doing the “snowball fight” again.  If you can, bring a bag of recycled white paper crumpled into balls for the boys to throw around in the gym.

MIT’s 14th Annual Friday After Thanksgiving Chain Reaction! Participating teams link their mini chain reactions together forming one mega chain reaction – set off at the end as the event’s thrilling culmination. It’s like watching a giant domino demonstration. Date Friday November 25. Time: Arrival time varies based upon role. Building team will be meeting at 10:45 AM Observers: As early as 1:00 PM Other Volunteers: Dependent upon their role. End time: Plan around 4:30 PM..

Waltham Common

Mayor Jeannette A. McCarthy invites you to the Waltham Common for the City’s Annual Holiday Lighting.  This year’s event will be held on Friday November 25^th at 6:00pm.  The Waltham High School show choirs will be on hand to get everyone in the holiday spirit with singing some holiday classics!

7:10 - Turkey judging (by crowd noise)

7:15 - Upcoming events:  Christmas Tree Lighting, MIT, Toys for Tots, Bentley events, USS Salem, anything else?

7:25 - Scoutmaster Minute

7:30 - Closing

This is a full Class A uniform event.

There is no set end time; after the ceremonies, the scouts will have an opportunity to help pass retired flags to uniformed service personnel for the incinerators.

We usually wrap up by 10:00  am.
